I'm a fan of history, I mainly know the bad things though, probably because that makes up the majority of history. What choices do we have? Phalaris, burned people to death in the brazen bull and allegedly ate babies; Qin Shi Huang, a crazy legalist who ruthlessly supressed Confucianism, even burning the books and burying the scholars, he executed anyone who thought was a threat to him or who spoke out against him; Caligula, sick person who brutally murdered people over days; Nero, viciously persecuted the Christians. You could also pick a lot of ancient Assyrian kings. You decide who was the worst.

I'm not very informed on ancient civilizations, I know more about American history but what about Napolean. He seemed like quite the tyrant, starting wars and winning most of the time.

This is all of BC times to the 5th century AD, so we can't include Napoleon. However, I'll add another topic to discuss the worst rulers of the middle ages, 1500-1899, and the modern era. Right now it's ancient. So, pick someone from the list of some of the bad ones I mentioned.

Get over the shining thing. Want more people to choose from? Alright then. Antiochus Epiphanes. Since you keep mentioning the antichirst, Antiochus Epiphanes is considered the prototype of the antichrist. And don't say he's an ancestor of shining.
